SAP OMP integration is achieved over secure connections. RFC connections are therefore wrapped into a secure layer, while the OMP SAP Namespace solution also complies with SAP security standards. Customer data is always encrypted, both in transit and at rest. In transit, protection of the privacy and integrity of the exchanged data is secured using the HTTPS protocol. HTTPS creates a secure channel over an insecure network, protecting against man-in-the-middle attacks. At rest, all written data is encrypted through 256-bit AES encryption, one of the strongest block ciphers available.
