OMP, a leading provider of supply chain planning solutions, is proud to announce its selection as a finalist for the 2023 Innovator of the Year Award by AICC, the Independent Packaging Association. This nomination recognizes OMP’s commitment to providing new and innovative solutions within the paper and packaging industry, highlighting its Green Planning capabilities.

The Innovator of the Year award acknowledges solutions from AICC members that “enhance the efficiencies, productivity, product quality, and bottom-line profitability of the independent box plant.” The finalists were selected by the AICC Plant Innovations Committee and presented at their annual meeting, where attendees voted anonymously based on submissions.

OMP’s submission focused on enhancing its current end-to-end planning capabilities with CO₂ emissions and other sustainability parameters. The goal is to improve capacity management, reduce inventory, and balance machine loads while producing less waste and reducing energy consumption.
