Over 120 enthusiastic supply chain professionals joined us at the OMP Brazil 24 Conference in the colorful city of São Paulo on April 4. Marking the 10th anniversary of OMP’s Brazil office, the conference allowed industry leaders, customers, prospects, and alliance partners to exchange innovative strategies for building agile and sustainable supply chains.
Under the banner of "Be agile. Be green. Be inspired”, the OMP Brazil 24 Conference examined the critical need for supply chains to adapt swiftly to changing market conditions, anticipate disruptions, and bring sustainability center stage.
In an inspirational keynote, Formula 1 motor racing executive and media commentator Mark Gallagher captivated his audience by demonstrating how AI is revolutionizing racing, with Brazilian legend Ayrton Senna as a pioneer. Gallagher also explained how the sport is taking significant strides to reduce its carbon footprint.
Insightful testimonials revealed how customers are improving supply chain planning practices to achieve excellence. Companies like Beiersdorf, Braskem, and Aperam shared their experiences and successes in building more agile and sustainable supply chains with Unison Planning™.
A series of live afternoon demos provided insight into related innovative Unison Planning functionality, much of which is being developed in co-innovation projects with customers.
“Yes, we firmly believe in the power of collaboration,” confirmed Anita Van Looveren, OMP’s CEO, who was excited to be in Brazil for the first time in her life. ”I’m so happy to see so many customers here, all of them very engaged in working with us on better solutions with a positive impact on society.”
