UNILIN, a division of the global flooring company MOHAWK Industries Inc., has chosen OMP Plus to support the forecasting process within their flooring division (Laminate, Wood & LVT).

UNILIN and OM Partners share a long history together, starting in 1997 with the implementation of production scheduling. Later, scheduling was rolled out to other sites (including the US). Recently, UNILIN went live with the newest OMP Plus release and is now running integrated planning and scheduling in 6 sites worldwide.

The decision has now also been made to replace the existing SAP APO forecasting by OMP Plus. The forecasting tool will collect all forecast information (regular sales, promotions & campaigns and projects) in one single tool. OMP Plus will improve user friendliness by, for example, showing all relevant information on one screen. It will deliver Product Life Cycle Management, and be able to involve not only European, but worldwide operations. The OMP Plus Promotion Management framework will also be used to manage Promotions and other special events like Project-related volumes. Go-live is planned for June 2015.
