Get real results with AI: stories from the leaders shaping tomorrow’s supply chains

AI is everywhere. In every conversation, every headline, every boardroom agenda. But here’s the question I keep hearing when I talk with supply chain leaders across industries:

“How do we separate the hype from the reality, and how do we get real business results from it?”

From London to Miami: decision-centric planning takes the stage

From London to Miami: decision-centric planning takes the stage

That same question was front and center earlier this month at Zero100 Live in London, where thought leaders, analysts, and executives came together to explore the next era of planning. And while the lunar eclipse on the first evening grabbed plenty of attention, the real spotlight was on decision-centric planning powered by agentic AI.

The discussions were grounded in business reality, focused on how to move from pilots to real-world impact. And here's why this matters: The faster you move, the more disruptions you face. Tariffs. Supply chain shocks. Shifting customer expectations. You can't predict every scenario. But you can respond with speed and confidence.

That's where decision-centric planning comes in. Supported by reality-based digital twins and agentic AI, it shifts us from rigid monthly cycles to an always-on model where events trigger decisions.

At its core, decision-centric planning is about empowering planners. AI takes on the complexity — simulating scenarios, surfacing insights, and continuously learning — so they can focus on what matters most: making confident, strategic decisions that drive the business forward.

That was the big takeaway in London. And it’s exactly the spirit we’ll bring to the stage this November at OMP Conference 2025 in Miami.

The power of proof: customer stories that matter

What excites me most about Miami is that our customers aren’t coming to speculate about the future. They’re coming to share how they are already delivering tangible business results with Unison Planning And this isn’t hype. These are Fortune 500 companies proving measurable outcomes in their supply chains.

When I think about the customer presentations lined up, I see powerful and inspiring examples of transformation in action:

  • AstraZeneca has moved from adoption to innovation, scaling Unison Planning™ across their enterprise. Part of that journey is embracing scenario-based and decision-centric planning, using AI to act with speed and confidence in an unpredictable environment.
  • Beiersdorf reminds us that real change begins with people. Their planners are taking center stage, empowered by AI-driven decision support to make informed choices with greater impact. It’s a clear example of technology and human expertise working in harmony.
  • Eastman is turning sustainability from vision into action by embedding it at the core of their planning process. They use advanced, AI-powered planning to balance business performance with environmental and social priorities.
  • Kraft Heinz is building a self-driving supply chain from farm to table, using digital transformation to connect data, partners, and processes for smarter, faster, and more sustainable decisions.
  • Johnson & Johnson shows how digital vision becomes real value. By leveraging a digital twin of their global supply chain, they can simulate disruptions, test sourcing alternatives, and make informed, data-driven decisions in real-time.
  • Land O’Lakes brings yet another perspective, proving that resilience is not just about systems but also about safeguarding livelihoods and communities while using advanced planning to build agility into a complex supply chain.

stories from the leaders shaping tomorrow’s supply chains

Alongside these inspiring stories, Kevin O’Marah will open the conference with his perspective on how agentic AI and resilience are reshaping leadership.

In the demo sessions, participants will see UnisonIQ in action, our AI orchestration framework that transforms supply chain decision-making through human-AI synergy.

And perhaps most valuable of all will be the chance to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and challenge each other on what it really takes to build the next generation of supply chains.

Recognition built on customer satisfaction

What unites all these stories is a clear pattern: when companies invest in collaboration, innovation, and smarter planning, the results speak for themselves.  When the 2025 Gartner Top 25 Supply Chain list was released, it was inspiring to see so many OMP customers featured, proving that great planning drives great performance. It is their success stories that set the benchmark for what is possible in today’s complex world.

That same customer excellence was also reflected in the 2025 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for Supply Chain Planning Solutions, where OMP was positioned highest for Ability to Execute.

Our strength comes from their success. This recognition highlights the power of Unison Planning, our cloud-native, AI-driven platform that supports the most complex planning needs, from strategy to operations and from demand to supply. Most importantly, it reflects the results of long-term partnerships with our customers. Together, we are co-innovating, solving real-world challenges, and proving measurable outcomes.

Want to join the conversation?
